Stillwater High’s softball team went 1-1 at the Putnam City North Festival on Friday. In the Lady Pioneers’ first game, they earned a 2-0 win against Putnam City. Jerika Rosenquist, Lindsey Jones and April Argo each recorded a hit for SHS (5-8).
On Saturday evening at the end of the first week of the fall semester at Oklahoma State University, several hundred new international students converged on the International Center for Trade Development, often called the Wes Watkins Center, for the annual Mayor’s Welcome.
