The Last Shadow Puppets have confirmed details of their first major live performance. Arctic Monkeys ' star Alex Turner and Miles Kane from The Rascals are set to play the Reading and Leeds Festivals this summer, they have announced.

What? : Channeling their mutual admiration for studio savant and lush orchestral pioneer Scott Walker, the two Brit sensations of the Last Shadow Puppets -- Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner and the Rascals' Miles Kane -- hit France’s Black Box studio last year with Simian Mobile Disco’s James Ford on production and drum duties.
The nominations were announced today (April 29) for the MOJO Honours List 2008 and Alex Turner has secured four nominations for both Arctic Monkeys and The Last Shadow Puppets reports XFM.co.uk.
