Roy Brand Roy Lacy (R.L.) Brand, 95, of Commerce, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at BJC Nursing home. Born in Cobb County, he was the son of the late O.B. and Elizabeth Lacy Brand and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Commerce. He was a retired rural mail carrier.
_Clifford R. Boyd, 30, of Kemmerer, Wyo., saved Kaili M. Heronema, 7, Amanda R. Humphreys, 17, and their grandfather, Arden L. Humphreys, 78, from drowning after they were found clinging to a partially sunk boat in La Barge, Wyo., on Aug. 3.
