PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Coast Guard rescue crews from Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, N.C., and Coast Guard Station Hobucken, N.C., rescued two people from a life raft after their boat sank near the mouth of the Neuse River today.
Monroe Police arrested Linda Maples, 26, as she was released from the hospital. Maples was taken into custody Thursday just before 6 a.m. in her hospital gown.
